Our Mission:
Injury prevention and performance enhancement through optimal running mechanics.

At Run Without Limits, nothing "new" is being addressed; nothing has been "invented" regarding optimal running technique. Rather, by utilizing experience(s) and countless hours researching existing literature, what has developed is a teaching system which offers an athlete, coach or health-care provider the greatest level of information on how to improve one's running efficiency and to stave off injury. While there has been much written about proper running kinematics, I have not come across one specific running methodology that produces the best results for athletes. RWL uses  methodology that expands on much of the already existing information available but incorporates additional attributes to form the proper kinematics of running and how to integrate these approaches into one's training program.

As a health care professional, I have become frustrated with the number of running related issues that I see on a daily basis, e.g. plantar fasciitis, IT Band Syndrome, achilles tendonitis, low-back pain, Knee "syndromes", Ankle/foot "syndromes" etc.  Many health-care providers treatment centers around alleviating the signs and symptoms rather than focusing on the "cause". The question I  began to ask myself; Is running a dangerous activity? Should these injuries be the unfortunate by-product of continued or extreme running? I think not! And, further more, the research can show you that fact as well! Running need not be "bad for your knees" nor should it be the primary cause of "overuse" injuries if done properly.

Utilizing the RWL methodology, I have found that the number of running related injuries significantly decreased and there recurrence essentially eliminated. This is what I strive to achieve as a professional in the health-care field and what I hope to instill upon others through Run Without Limits.
